And here’s what me and hairstylist Jen came up with on Amber:
(Yes, that’s all her hair! Nothing built in except a lot of teasing and hairspray.)
I used the Makeup Forever flash colors to create the angel fish sketch on her eye, sealed with matching eyeshadows. The smoke was actually part of the shoot (we had a fog machine), but the rest is digital art by photographer Kris Atendido. I’m looking forward to seeing the more brush-stroke-y version she’s working on for her own portfolio (she’s an artist with Photoshop!), but she set this one aside for the stylists.
This was a fantastically fun shoot; very different from what I get to do normally. It kinda drew a crowd at the Hallmark studios!

Liz, this is awesome! You did a great job on the makeup and Amber looks adorable as always! Love you ladies! 🙂
