I was so honored when New York Times bestselling fantasy author Cassandra Clare‘s publicist contacted me to do makeup for her CBS Sunday Morning feature, which was shot (in part) at her home in Amherst. Clare is the author of several series, and the first big-budget cinema adaptation of her work, The City of Bones, is in theaters now!
Cassandra was a delight to work with – she loves bright colors in both her wardrobe and makeup, so I had fun choosing a bright lipstick and accenting her eyes with individual false lashes for the camera. (I did a little touch-up for CBS interviewer Serena Altschul as well.) Check out the segment here.
